AMD Catalyst 14.1 Beta - Mantle Support Coming Soon

14.1 will be the first Mantle/TruAudio driver. It will also see frame pacing fixed on Tahiti Eyefinity. Looks like this driver will fix a lot of things in one go. Never settle again??

Mr. Terry Makedon said in an interview, is about to launch in the first quarter of 2014 the Catalyst 14.1 Beta Driver will provide new features, including Mantle API R7/R9 series of games in the new graphics cards released mentioned, 4K Ultra HD ultra-clear resolution output, improved Eyefinity and dual graphics support.

Maybe figured if they can do away with crossfire bridges they can go without power cables too

With regards to frame-pacing, when will Nvidia get around to solving the frame pacing issue?

which seems to go against what we've been told up to now - in that Mantle is ready to go - just needs EA/DICE to release the BF4 patch ?

if expected next week - Qtr 1 seems un-necessarily vague ?

He's hoping it will be, but I doubt it as DICE devs have said next updates will be nearer the end of Jan.

It's all GCN, it's true audio that's limited (And that's to specific cards)
