I rarely buy ready meals. I don't feel the need to as they are quite pricey for what they are and most of the time aren't that nice/filling.

But i used to love the chicken, chorizo and rice Mexican thingy that Sainsburys used to do until they stopped it. :(

Oh and obviously lasagna.

I'm with you on that, very rarely buy ready meals but the Levi Roots ones are nice, I think its the chilli beef that has a bit of a kick!

I remember that one! I'm sure it was Jambalaya. It was delicious, don't why they stopped it.

Ready meal technology has come on a long way in the last few years.

My favourite is from M&S. It's chicken in giant Yorkshire pud, with small sausages, stuffing and roast spuds bunged in the middle. I make a couple if adjustments. A drizzle of oil over the pots and a large dollop of peas on top and thick gravy. It is so nice for £3. 30 mins in the oven.

You can also buy get it with beef instead of chicken.

Technology? you mean recipe?

The technology is still food in a tray, in the oven for a set time. :p

Co-op stuffed crust double pepperoni, if pizza counts. Often 2 for £6 and an absolute bargain especially compared to the local fine pizza establishment.

What's a ready meal.
Fish and chips, roast chicken from the hot deli, hot pasty from the hot deli, or other takeaways is about as close as i get.
