I'm a little disappointed it's arrived with Colour OS on it rather than CyanogenMod, but I'll try it as it is for a while.

The video will be live from 2pm (off to work while it processes on YouTube)

First impressions are it's HUGE, but very slick and nicely designed.

It cost 479 Euro's, which is a touch under £400 right now, for the 32 GB version.

The Limited Edition wasn't available in Europe when I ordered on Christmas day, but is available now :(

I'd be very interested to see you putting CM on it as this should be one of the very few devices where there are no hardware/driver issues with CM.

Edit: Do you test the read/write speed of the devices built in memory? That's something that greatly affects day-to-day performance and "snappiness" but is never covered in the spec sheets of the devices.

No, not at the moment. Do you know a good app for testing that? (Well, I think it might be part of the benchmark, but I don't test it separately.)

for £400 you can pick up a note 3. What does this offer over that?

Just flicked through the n5 comparison and god damned that oppo is an ugly bit of kit lol (my opinion of course).

After a week of use, I really got to enjoy the size of the screen.

The camera is a bit of a concern, it doesn't seem to focus too well, but I think that might improve with updates.

The app drawer (random(?) non changeable order) and 'Okay' and 'Cancel' being on the wrong side where the only other real issues. Nice device.
