How do you prefer to unlock your phone?

Bit tired of PINs, patterns, and facial recognition for different reasons. Does anyone here use a simple swipe or speak to unlock, or is that just a bad idea, in case you lose your phone?

Also, is there any way to wake your phone without having to hit the power button, e.g. purely with a voice command?

I use an app called Cover, it finds your location based on which wifi you connect automatically to and gives specific apps based on the location. When connected to home wifi, it gives me apps i normally used at home. When at work, it gives me apps i mostly use at work. Even has options for driving and outside. Works quite well.

I wasn't sure of it at first, but I like the way TouchID works.

But I personally don't have a password lock on my phone. So with a press of the power button and it being opened with a quick swipe on lock screen, you can access all...

Pattern for me too, but I use SkipLock to keep my phone unlocked whilst on my home or work WiFi.

Pattern for me too but doesn't help if you have greasy fingers, leaves the pattern on screen :p

Lg g2 is great for knock on feature.

depending on your droid phone there are kernals/roms available that add tap to wake and slide (capacitive buttons) to wake. (t2w s2w)

Same here for me, pattern and G2, I set it so the pattern dots move about depending on where on the screen you press first, because of leaving the pattern on the screen with fingerprints however :)

Slide/double tap on my Lumia. Previously never bothered on my Android phones, but then I have everything sensitive password protected on the phone anyway (lastpass is set to prompt for password, rather than remember, for example).

pattern unlock, then use profiles when on trusted wifi networks to disable lockscreen security and change sound/notification settings (if i'm at home, friends house etc it'll be different). as for waking the phone, i have bubba kernel installed atm, so have doubletap & sweep2wake/sleep enabled.

gawd bless this rom + kernel :p

4 digit pin on both Nex4 and Nex7, otherwise it's not worth me having Cerberus! I could have just relied on Google's tracker or even Avast! :)
