Superflower 1300w psu problems :(

Sounds abit of a nightmare to be honest, as none in stock to replace.

Greybeard on OC3D forums sorts out Corsair RMA's, think they even sort out courier...

You get 10 year warranty on the EVGA 1000w/1300w replica SuperFlower PSU's.

EVGA will pay for return shipping on RMAs via EVGA’s choice of courier and shipping method >> http://eu.evga.com/support/warranty/

EVGA have Advanced RMA in Europe where you can have the replacement shipped to you first. This means you will have a replacement at your door within 3 or 4 days of submitting the Advanced RMA request. You have 30 days for EVGA to then receive your defective product: http://eu.evga.com/ear/

Sorry to hear you've had problems with your PSU. I've had the 1200W platinum rated SuperFlower for a week and had zero issues (touch wood).

From the first video I'd say it's definitely an issue with the fan bearings

I installed my gold 1000w superflow yesterday and had the same problem with the fan stop and starting, gonna have to RMA mine also....

HI there

Is the fan actually catching against the PSU casing causing the noise do you know? Have you tried pulling on the metal casing above the fan in case its catching? If so possible it took some damage in transit causing the fan to catch.

When the fan is not turning, is it silent or still making strange noises. If still making strange sound then something has failed somewhere, be good to know so I can report it to Superflower.

P.S. My 1000W Superflower platinum has being superb and is mining 24/7 with fan in normal mode. :)

Yea gibbos right, I actually have the exact problem as shown here and with a video on youtube. Talked to OCs AMAZING rma
team and they said they think they may of had a bad batch as others have been fine, so a simple RMA proccess and im happy. Thanks OCUK!

heres my vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQ50R9x-dls
