Hey everyone, in desperate need of a new mouse. My current mouse a Roccat Kone+ is just not cutting it any more.

So if you kind people could recommend me a awesome gaming mouse that is great for overall gaming, that would be fantastic. I play all types of games so a good all rounder is what I'm after.

I've had 2 death adders and now i have a Roccat Kone+, all been great mice, but all suffered from the double clicking issue.

Thanks.

Are you sure the double clicking isn't down to you rather than the mice? May be better with one which has slightly stiffer buttons, a high end non-gaming mouse for example.

Its definitely not me, well at least i hope so. My wife also gets the double click issue when she uses the computer.

Its the left mouse button, for example when firing in FPS's it'll fire 2 rounds instead of one, double click icons in the OS and in MMO's, click to select a folder sometimes open the folder.

Shame I can't suggest the Kone XTD as its over your budget, its really good, I love mine, i've heard its much better then the +, and from what I read it doesnt suffer from the usual issues like the other Kones.

eVo or none eVo? Any reason why?

Evo is fine normal are rarer than rocking horse poop,

a few reasons why,

Lazer is second to none it's as good as the intelli mouse 3.0 which was largely regarded as one of the best mice for gaming

The feel the rubber coating on it not too disimilar to the death adder

shape has a real comfortable feel to it I'm totally undecided if I prefer the EC2 that I use here at work or my EC1 at home.

Finally it's a no thrills mouse no drivers no stupid programs just 5 buttons and a brilliant lazer

Also the black ones will be back in stock really soon :)

Roccat Kone XTD gets my vote, simply lovely to grip (palm or claw) and the configurable led strips mean it matches my Corsair K70 backlighting :-)

I previously used a RAT 7, which I loved to bits and was a very nice mouse. In the end I started getting some tracking issues which I think was just down to age. I considered replacing it with another RAT but decided to go back to basics. I had stopped playing MMOs in the primacy and was back to more FPS titles.

I ended up buying the Razer DeathAdder 2013 purely because of the optical tracking it offered. The only thing it could use is an extra button or 2. If you want to map a macro/function then you only really have middle, Button 4 and 5 which traditionally you keep as they are. Absolutely fantastic mouse for tracking though.

As for Roccat..... if you are spending the sort of money you are then go for something decent. Roccat have non existent customer support and the Kone mouse I had failed very quickly. The response I got from Roccat was "You don't live in Germany, we are not obliged to offer the Warranty period we do here in the UK...we will not replace or fix."

Total cold shoulder, as a result I will never touch a Roccat product again.

i got through 3 kones in 6 months mousewheel twice and left click on two of them too. now it can't be me because "cough" a rival "cough" Replaced the kone with a death adder which lasted nearly 2 years and i sold to a mate who is still using it.

got my g602 today, used it for a few hours and I quite like it, its better than the g700 it has replaced, tracking feels better
