Really like these cars in good, modded form, like this one
What suspension does this one have? Looks a bit high at the front compared to the rear...otherwise looks fantastic, nice combination of aesthetic mods without going too OTT/chav/drift 'scene'.
Its got uprated KYB Shocks and 30mm lower springs, cant remember the make. It makes it look high on the front because the front arch is higher than the rear on the shell itself.. I got coil overs to fix this though!
Love the 200sx - and that one is in fantastic nick and looks perfect. Okay, I'm also a fan of Jap cars, and owning a Nissan myself I'm obviously a little biased
Does it still have the viscous diff or has it been upgraded?
Still got viscous diff. I fancy upgrading but not on my list at the moment. Just ordered some db power 345 discs and red stuff pads. Fancied willwoods but I think it's an overkill for what I want. Upgrade path I'm thinking my tubular manifold, gt2871r, z32 maf and all my existing bits. Then obviously the chip/remap
As per Clarkey - make sure you at least change the Diff Oil during the service, if it's got small metal swarf in the oil already that's "bad". My r34's stock viscous lasted less than 6 months of drifting before grinding itself into a metal paste
Ive done diff oil already and it was pretty clean coming out. Ive been looking at buying another for a drift car to be honest so ill probably use this for the odd track day then use something else as a full on drift car..
was £250 cheap! I passed on it because at the moment I need brakes (which I've ordered), coil overs and was going to buy geomasters for upfront with the rack spacers. Also on top of all that my front wheels require swapping out to 8.5s so I can fit all the above! Bit of a pain.
It seems to be holding up ok for now, I just wont enter a drift day yet. Will it survive a track day mind?
If your putting coilovers on i presume the frontride height will be going lower, that red shiney splitter is going to take a beating and look tatty in no time.
Mine is only lowered 30mm front and mine scrapes on some bumps and most multi story style ramps.
Need to change the wheels as they would catch the coilovers. Need to spacer them out 20mm which would look awful. 8.5 et25 with 5mm spacer sits perfectly where I want it
