Hello.

Im looking for a micro atx board.

I thought my CPU was AM2/AM2+ but the board I currently has uses DDR3 RAM so doesn't this mean its actually socket AM3?

Been having trouble trying to find a micro atx motherboard that fits AM2/AM2+ processors.

Any advice on boards to get as well? Currently running 1 graphics card, USB 3 would be nice and obviously fit my processor which I think is AM3?

Thanks

EDIT: Ive seen a "Gigabyte AMD 78LMT-USB3 AM3+ DDR3" for £40 reduced from £70

Cpu is am3
What memory do you have to go in the new board

I don't have any new memory but what im using is DDR3 1333mhz.

Its nothing special I think 2 sticks are kingston and one is some ultra low profile. Bought them a while back.

Im running that noctua nh-d14 heatsink which is huge so im limited. I am tempted once I get this new case and board to get some second hand corsair xms stuff.

EDIT: Gigabyte AMD 78LMT-USB3 AM3+ DDR3 for £44. Worth getting? Reduced from £70

Then look for a better board that the one listed. A newer chipset should offer more connectivity

For the cost I might just get the one I listed.

Won't be buying an SSD for a while.

Seems to get good reviews. Don't really want to spend over £50 as I need to buy the case too. Saying that I could probably sell my scout case for £20/£25 and maybe £20 for my current board. :)
