I did my best in reading it, but I don't understand all the tech terms. Is it saying it's a decent graphics card ? In the review you posted above.

Yes it is a decent card.

We like the Gigabyte R9-280X WinDForce X3 OC edition. Most variables are right, the overall looks, the cooling and that nice the factory overclock. Our early sample however was rather noisy, once the GPU is under stress there's a lot of fan RPM, we do expect and hope to see this fixed with a BIOS update though. So aside from cooling added benefits are the factory overclock, the four outputs and overall just a really nice product that will guarantee you a pleasant gaming experience as these cards have plenty of juice to work with.

Update: Gigabyte is going to fit a new BIOS into the final mass production units that will lower noise levels.

When I install windows 8, should I install it on main hard drive or solid state drive ?

Install it on your ssd. Make sure ACHI is enabled in the Bios, it will show you how in the manual. Also donT connect your hdd until your OS is installed.

edit: Link for your mobo, use the drivers from here as they will be up to date. You also get the manual and have a read through it while waiting for your parts to come.

Paste is pre-applied to the bottom of the stock heatsink.

Disconnect the HDD cable while installing windows to prevent any random files being written to it.

I would just get your system up and running first, before thinking about overclocking. Then do a bit of research and get some idea as to how to overclock.
