Panasonic Leaving the Plasma market

Don't know if there's another thread out there for this?

But its with sad news that Panasonic has officially announced they're ceasing production and sales of their Plasma range.

This is very upsetting news. For someone who has always bought Panasonic plasma's over the last 10yrs, I'm a little distraught.

I'm currently a proud owner of a GT50, G25 and G10, in my household. Not sure what I'm going to do if one goes up in smoke? Swap it for an LCD ? NO THANKS !!!! :(

OLED is around the corner, but will that even be as good as a plasma ?
 
Plasma is dead then, Panasonic were the only top end player left holding the market up.

It's a shame but these seem to be the days of the market not choosing the best quality product it all started with the MP3 i say :)
