Wow what?

Yes as OLDPHART says, replace any cables if unnecessary just be 100% sure. I've had people bring PCs to me only for it to be a dodgy cable. Make sure the refresh rate is set correctly.

It sounds driver issues to me.. Could be wrong but wirth a try..

I would then try a fresh install of the drivers making sure you clean the previous ones' first. Use driver sweeper (or fusion now) http://treexy.com/products/driver-fusion?ref=dfDownload#free-features. Better still re-install windows.

If that doesn't work, then clear them out again and try an older version of the drivers.

If that still does doesn't work, trying running a test in safe mode.

Lastly, try your card in another machine if you can. Although OCUk testers have done this already it will eliminate the card for sure.

If it works fine, it could be your PSU.

I tried different display port cables.

I have the card connected to my tv and monitor - both flicker.

I removed all drivers and have tried older ones

I have a matrix platinum that does not do this.

It is the card!

Feel your pain.

Had a similar problem with KFA2. 3 GFX cards all turned out faulty, 1st one they said the same thing ocuk have: no fault found. It took me a month of complaining just to get a replacement, only to find out the 560 they replaced it with was also faulty. In the end they upgraded me to a 570 at no extra to make a amends. And guess what... that stopped working too. Still have the 570 on my shelf because they wouldn't accept it to be RMA'd (just out of warranty conveniently). It is just a £250 paperweight now. Just be glad you are dealing with OcUK and not direct with the Manufacturer as I had to.

My moral of the story: NEVER buy anything from KFA2 again.

Baileys Frigin awesome he's been helping me a tonne lately withba Rma problem. As a result will be posting a nice write up on OCUK on a few sites.

Update: Changed PSU power from extension to direct PSU cable. No change, still flickers.

Next step to swap PCIE slots.

Then I give up and will take up Bailey on the offer to send back and retest.

Not sure how long you have had the card but if it is within 28 days use your distance selling regulation rights to get a refund as can be returned for whatever reason you want they cannot refuse and certainly within this time you can expect a replacement at least

I believe DSR is 7 days, ocuk do 14. I got mine in 2012.

UPDATE:

Its been a while but recently i've started using my monitor again and not just my tv.

I was using the PC on the TV only through onboard HDMI. And
zero flickering/extreme-tearing!

I then moved to the lightning (the problem card) and surprisingly it was fine was quite shocked. I then went and started using my monitor again, U2711, and then it started again, flickering/tearing on both TV and monitor. And sometimes the mouse cursor would become a weird single character and the only way to get the normal arrow cursor back would be to 'switch user' on windows.

SO - the i've narrowed it down to the Display Port port. This is the issue I believe, I've since disconnected my monitor cable from the gfx card and my tv is fine and no longer tearing/flickering.

What to do now?

RMA it again stating this new fact ??? Hope it reproduces on another system.

Cant you record an external recorded video burn it to a dvd and send it along in the box???

Its worth doing.... I worked for a while in a test environment and having as much info as possible saves everyone's time.
