I am probably going to get one of these shortly, I keep seeing them and I love them and I am tired of the stiff ride on the 530D I have. I will aim for the 640D and wondered what Fox etc al can tell me about them in terms of options, ride quality, reviews etc as I know little about them in truth. I am arranging to drive one this weekend, but I want to ensure I get the right bits. I will not be buying new unless they can entice me with a stupid offer, so mostly seeking same as my F10, 11 months old, 10K miles etc etc. I shall drive both Adaptive Drive and non if I can.

I have nothing of any use to add other than the fact that I think they are great looking cars. Probably one of the best looking cars from a 'mainstream' manufacturer, though I do think they are quite wheel/colour sensitive.

Naturally Fox will have read and absorbed everything there is to know about them;)

They are exceptional cars. It's basically an uber-lux version of the F10 with even nicer styling. The dash is fantastic - it sort of wraps around you and almost every surface is trimmed in leather. Brilliant stuff.

Most things you need are standard, but if ride is something thats important look for the adaptive suspension, without it I fear it'll be more of the same you have with your current 530d.

Also, the HUD is epic.

They shed money like CRAZY - you can get 2 year old ones for about £40k. They'd have been £80k new with the spec a lot of them have...

The 'new' configurator is shockingly poor. At least it actually is live though, unlike Mercedes who haven't had one working properly for at least a year or 2 years now?!

That is my only concern, I don't want to take a bath on the car as even if I pay say £45K for a car I don't want to be getting 20K for it in 2 years, which is highly likely. £25K is far too much to **** on a car of this nature.

I'll underwrite it for you*, £20k in 2 years time sounds fair, yea? :p

* This is not a legally binding offer and does not consitute agreement either implied or offered

I'll have my people talk to your people an put a heads of agreement in place, which may involve ransom, kidnap and assassination, but that will be very very small print.

6 Series Coupe or Grand Coupe for me, is the best luxury coupe on the market at the moment. I've not driven one, but have sat in one and did not want to leave.
Get one, please.
