Currently £199 at most stores, would people recommend this tablet? Looking at the Nexus 7 which has the same price, the Samsung seems the best choice IMO, ignoring the massive difference in specs the Nexus wins hands down but from testing them out in shops the Samsung seems the better device, the screen been 1" does make a huge difference and you can use an Micro SD card.

Anybody with the Tab 3 8" care to explain you experiences with this device?

I bought a Tab 8 inch for the old girl as a chrimbo pressie. She has limited to no techno knowledge and is getting on quite well with it. The screen is crystal clear and much like most other android devices easy to use. But at the end of the day it's your money, so spend how you wish.

Very much true, think ill pick one up tonight.

I use one at work as its been issued to me, having an iPad personally I'm pleasantly surprised with it in terms of smoothness and the screen quality, even my colleague has bought one for her self and she is very happy with it.

It's on 4.2.2 at the moment but hopefully Samsung will push an update out to it for KitKat.

Got my daughter one from Santa and have the Note 10.1 myself. Both great Tabs. Prefer the 8 as it just feels a better size and handier. SD card is a great feature.

Got one last night and wow what a brilliant bit of kit. The specs seem poor and so does the screen res but wow I am very impressed.

The screen is superb and crystal clear and its very snapy, overall very impressed
