Hello the long and short of it is me and some mates got to try out The Elder Scrolls Online BETA and it ran pretty well on my pc in a mixture of medium to high settings however i was wondering if i could upgrade my card for something a bit more powerful just so i know it will be fine when the game come out.

My PC is old now around 5 years old infact the spec is:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.5Ghz
4GB Ram
Windows 8 Pro 32bit
750GB HDD
Radeon HD 5670 1GB
450W PSU

Not really sure if i could get something better just to stick in there i know some will say i should upgrade my entire PC but that's not a option at the moment.

Will be doing most gaming on Xbox One so don't want to spend a fortune probably £150 tops

Cheers in advance

Overclock your cpu to get the most out of your purchase.

You could also consider a 270 / 270x, though overclocking your cpu would be even more important there - and really, you'd want to upgrade the rest of the system sooner than later if chucking in something as powerful as a 270x. I guess it depends how long you intend to keep your current spec.

I haven't heard of those, and I suspect that at best it's a bit on the cheap side, though I could be wrong. In that case, in your shoes I'd probably pick up a new psu as well, and also overclock your quad core cpu.

Something like the following psu and this card would keep you below your £150 budget :

the psu i've linked isn't a top of the line one, but i think it'll be better than the one you've got at the moment. it'll also allow you a little headroom for the future. the psu is probably the most important component you can buy for your computer.

If it was a good brand PSU, I'd say 450W is more than enough. The PSU required in graphic cards specifications is way over the top for what you actually need, usually.
The 260 is a relatively low-power card, so even with an unbrand PSU, I'd question the need for an upgrade there, unless you plan on doing overclocking.
