clutch question

I recently had the clutch on my ford focus replaced along with the timing belt. The car clutch feels and the car drives not as smoothly as before. The car drive/power delivery is not as smooth and can be a bit juddery at times. What could be causing this??

it is a 1.6 petrol ford focus 2001.. only occurs sometimes.. when I am not pressing/using clutch pedal.
Jerky is probably a better description then juddery BTW.
Tends to happen at lower speeds.

How low? might be that the old worn clutch was ironing out bad habits?
 
Is this when the car isn't fully warmed up and jumps forward at low speed/rpm? If so it's quite normal. Don't see why you'd notice it more with a new clutch though.
 
I'd move away from the clutch at fault bandwagon for a moment....

It's highly unlikely to be anything to do with the clutch if the OP is not actually using the clutch when it judders.
More likely to be something not plugged in or not done up or a hose not fitted during the clutch change procedure in my mind.
Have a poke around under the bonnet see if you can see anything amiss.
