Potential successors FX: AMD shows 16-core processor scheme in Programming Guide

Stick to that mantra regulus it works. As for the clowns steer clear of them and their goofy negativity.

I suggest you lie down otherwise you are going to explode with stress before the start of a new week.

:p

No seriously.... Open your eyes.... My sig clearly says I have a GTX 780 that's clocked at 1.3Ghz with an Accelero Hybrid cooler fitted...

I literally have no clue were you got that I'm running an iGPU from....

Wow. You're so hard.

P.S.

You're not winding me up. You're just making yourself look like a moron who boasts about running uber hardware to try and deflect the fact that he's wrong. And it's not just me who sees it, the whole world does. It's the fact that you can't see it that makes it all the more hilarious.

Funny thing is there's thousands of reviews, articles and forums posts world over that prove I'm right dear boy....

handbags away ladies

1. its well known intel perform better, core for core, than amd
2. that said, amd are by no means bad chips, especially when all cores are loaded up.

Just had a long Crysis 3 session. CPU never got above 32c or were stressed in anyway. I got it back running on stock. No determinable difference. Clocked it to 4.5. No major difference. However, when I started clocking my GPU, frame rates crept up.

Not a bad little chip for the 100 measly bucks I paid for it :p

Crysis 3 does not use all of a CPU on certain levels. This is why there was so much confusion with it at launch, with several levels preferring Intel quad core chips, then, 8 core AMDs. The train depot level seems to stress the GPU far more than the CPU.

If you want to see your PC poo its guts through its mouth then go to the swamp level or Welcome to he jungle. Both will put a serious load over all 8 cores :)

Never had any issues on 'Welcome to the Jungle'. And I assume the Swamp Level is the one in China Town?

The only time I ever noticed a dropped in performance is during massive explosions, and then only into the low-mid 30s. I'm actually amazed Crysis 3 runs so well on a 7950. And here I was ready to buy a Titan to play this game maxed out.

Turn on 8xmsaa, watch your rig die.

Haven't AMD learned that more cores doesn't equal more performance? Intel will still rape them regardless and I wonder what will happen after, 34 core CPU clocked at 7Ghz?

I'm not too pleased that I have just spent the last 30 minutes cleaning this thread from the ridiculous trolling and childish comments. Please keep this on topic.
