Anyone here a bodybuilder/weight lifter?
I love how people who drink energy drinks are those who have the least possible energy.
That's kind of the point. Who the **** drinks an energy drink when they're already jacked up? :/

the point.
I think the point is that when people drink energy drinks over time, they appear more tired overall than before. Probably due to being dependant on caffine and not sleeping as well.
I think you're being overly charitable to yourself.
I'm no doctor.. but artificial sweeteners aren't good for you.

Stay away, the dentist treatment they will cause in the future will make you cringe and let alone the liver issues.
Just drink coffee pre-workout even though you do not like it...if working out real early that is otherwise go with porridge+banana/cereal/yoghurt.
I despise energy drinks now, used to drink loads when i was 20 or so not touched one in years.
Carbs are good for you, even for working out, it's sugar that causes you to get fat not carbs unless you are eating high carb food after 7pm or so then it can be an issue.(i stay off bread as much as i can or eat wholemeal for breakfast only)
I am no way an expert with weights but started last Sept yet been eating fairly good and doing well at the gym.I always have coffee before workout but i always workout at 6.30am so eating something before will not give me anywhere near as much boost.I've lost a lot of bodyfat yet my carb rate been fairly high each day but i eat stuff with very little sugar each day.
They are still fine to have around lunchtime...you need energy back unless you want to walk around like you are a walking dead extra.
I am not keen on Stirfrys...rarely eat for fatloss.
Sweet potatoes/Chicken/Beef/Lamb/Vegetables/Cottage Cheese/Wholemeal Bread/Yoghurt/Cashew Nuts/Loads of Water are the main things to go by.
When i used to drink fizzy drinks regularly i always felt low energy/tired often now that never happens.![]()
I tend to buy monster energy drinks regularly at £1.40 a can and its the green (full sugar) one.
Im a type 1 diabetic
That is all.
