Where the hell are the IceQ 280X's?

It's now over three months since the launch of the 280X and as it was basically a HD7970 GE with a different label it wasn't exactly a monumental challenge to get them out the door, with one exception, the HIS IceQ blower. people have been waiting for these with bated breath since October and still they are nowhere to be found, retailers who took pre-orders are still waiting for stock, expected stock dates have come and gone etc, and still no cards.

It's no secret the these cards, if they where available, would be the best scrypt mining cards on earth right now, so what the hell is keeping HIS? don't they like money? or have they secretly used the cards to turn a warehouse into a giant mining complex? :P

Maybe they have just prioritized other countries? I know the HIS coolers are good and with the supply and demand of mining being high, maybe they look at the UK and laugh.

I wonder if for some reason they stopped production of it. I hope they're redesigning it and will launch an improved version with a bigger heatsink and better fan and release a 290X blower version. Would be perfect for crossfire on air.

It's not just the UK, literally nowhere in Europe has any stock (unsure about the US). The product code is H280XQS3G2M if you wanna have a shot at finding any.

Probably worth trusting Gibbo. If anyone will know, he's most likely.

I'm seriously thinking about selling my 2 stock HIS IceQ2 7970's and buying a single 290x, only thing stopping me is if it ain't broke and all that and also the ridiculous fee's that Ebay charge these days!
