TV Cabinet

I am looking for a cabinet to go on the floor below a wall mounted TV.

I was thinking something like this, white gloss with black top, so that it matches our kitchen:

I have seen a few like it online but there doesn't seem to be much choice/range.

Any sites I should definitely check?

We have one of these in black, gotta say it's a great unit for the price, looks the part too, available in three colours too. The units are also height adjustable to fit your gear in with ease.

Ideally I would like a cupboard/draw where I can put all the wiring into so that it can't be seen.

In the description it says you can compliment it with draws and doors etc

Why does it need to be fitted to the wall? Is it necessary to do so if I am not putting a TV on it?

I have some Besta shelving units and Ikea drawers and it is just there to stop it falling over, my drawer pack has gone over once but because I had all of them open at once...my own fault, I think as long as you are sensible and dont load it towards the front you will be fine

It gives you all the fixings and screws if you want to fit it to the wall, but it's optional. We have ours sat on the floor with the TV wall mounted above it.

Ikea does some great large TV units, like the one you pictured. I have one in the TOBO range, not sure of they're still available, but it's huge and great for 40" TVs and bigger.
