This year is going to be full of surprises. The rumor has it that NVIDIA is planning at least two high-end video cards for the first quarter of 2014.

The exact launch dates were not confirmed, but we are looking at a two-months time frame.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Black Edition

Let me start by saying this is probably the same card I’ve been writing about few weeks ago — GTX 780 Ti Black Edition. All we know for sure is that it’s a TITAN replacement and it would supposedly come with a black cooler.

Jesus more cards!

The GTX 790 could be good fun, won't it make the TITAN redundant tho?

*edit nvm just read the article, 790 sounds very nice now. Huge price for a reason.

I thought all of the black edition rumours were proven to be false some time ago? If a BE does happen, I hope at the very least its a new chip and not gk110.

As for the 790, I won't be convinced of its existence until I see it listed for sale.

That Titan Black Edition..

Got a 780 Ti on it's way to me. Typical that this would be released now :p

Saying that, it would be priced way to high for me anyway..

I know that feeling, got my 780, 2 months later 780Ti, seems they can't help but release a new card every 2 months.

That 790 5gb/core Vram thing seems weird.

Why would they release a 780Ti with 384bit bus and 3gb Vram, and then on the 790 put a 320bit bus and 5b Vram per each core? (10 total).

It makes no sense and screams fake to me.

Trying to figure out what the hell nVidia are doing. I assume they're trying to cover themselves from AMD being all up in their grill currently and trying to bridge the gap until Maxwell.

nVidia should release a GTX 790, as no way can AMD release a 290x2 without it catching fire :D but seriously, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 790 but that's as far as my imagination is prepared to go.

wow rumours about rumours, exciting stuff.

Please no more single gpu 780/titan cards, bored now give us something new.

A 790 with 6gb of vram (6 per card not in total) would be more interesting see.

£999+ on both then. Titan for single displays and 790 for multi?

That's another thing about the rumour which is odd. Titan Ultra will be aimed much like Titan as a workstation / gaming hybrid if at all (may still be false) and 790GTX will be aimed at surround resolutions. The price being the same for both doesn't seem likely in my eyes though.

Whats the point in them? Are they not supposed to be releasing Maxwell this year?
I know Nvidia are not too happy with the fab for the 20nm wafer cost but more 28nm cards rly?
