Asus 290X DCII vS 780Ti overclocked

Lol its laughable that your attitude is basically if you buy a 290 your a peasant, which is a pretty sad outlook on life mate, I suggest your the one that needs a good long hard look at yourself and probably counselling.

I could have bought a 780ti when I bought my 290, but im intelligent enough to know more expensive does not always equal better, unlike some here who think owning such products automatically make them some kind of superior being better than us mere peons.

I bet you shoot lazers out of your eyes too.

I stand by my comment, 290 is the best card on a power per pound spent ratio, end of argument and if all you have to come back with is childish comments the im sorry son but McDonald's is ========> that way.

Rage away Mr, I'm not judging your budget build :D. If I wanted a 290 I'd buy one, there's nothing more to it than that. In fact I did lol.

Why didn't they review a factory overclocked 780ti vs a factory overclocked 290x ?

Is it because the Asus dcuii 780ti only boosts upto 1020mhz?

Some of you trolls are just plain stupid :D

I don't think it is unfair to show a respected site doing a review of 2 overclocked cards on a GFX forum. And call it baiting is laughable but I call it news and if it upsets you, don't read it. I don't have a 780Ti but found the review quite insightful and not at all upsetting.

They ran 2 cards overclocked and compared them...I don't see how it is moving the goalposts but showing what I would be interested in seeing.

They have both cards customed overclocked. I don't see where you get factory over clocked for the 290X, when it clearly states they overclocked the card to 1115mhz. The factory clock of the DCII is 1050Mhz, so probably better to read first instead of getting things wrong.

Oh, I thought the Asus 290x was factory overclocked to 1115mhz, silly me :D

I shall be losing sleep over this tonight.

And no, not because you started the thread, but because you are what I described above in numerous posts.

Excellent Greg! that's three of us so far, btw...... if we decide to hold this drink in wales.....go out and buy an inflatable sheep, put a wig on it and bring it with you...in the valleys we don't like change or non "local sorts".... i'll need you to blend in..:D
