FRAPS is a program which can display you're FPS as you play, it can also do all kind of silly stuff like recoring and FPS locking...

The reason i ask about your monitor Hz-age (is that even a thing ) has been pointed out by Nickolp..

If you monitor is 60hz, you'll need to be getting 60 FPS to see it clearly..

In Nick's case he has to achieve 120 FPS, as his monitor is a 120hz monitor.

I just wonder if you may have a monitor or set your monitor to run at 30hz or something instead..

^^ adding to above, right click desktop and select screen res, then select advanced then monitor and it will tell you your refresh rate

I did check, it was set at 30, I changed it to 60.... if that's advisable, and no probs

Somehow i was right.

You'll see a huge difference on ultra now..

Put you're raincoat on, its gonna be choppy..

did check on BF4 and on 60, it was still pretty good, in fact in a weird way, it seemed to be quicker.... as long as im better than xbox then im happy

he may only be running it at like 25-30 fps on ultra at 1080p with SSA0 rather than HBAO, thats how my radeon 6950 ran it and that isnt much faster than a 650. the game is still pretty playable at sub 30 fps.

A 6950 is a lot better than a GTX 650... no way is it smooth @ 1080p
