Barcelona draw away to a fairly meh Levante team with Messi playing, leaving Atletico a chance to take the lead in the title race and they go and draw as well.

In 18 games both teams drew once, lost once and won every other game. Last week they played each other and drew, then both play significantly weaker teams and draw again.

Two draws in a row while Real have won their games has left 1 point difference across the top 3 teams now. Stupendously close La liga this year just over half way through. Real pretty much conceded it at this stage last year they were so far behind.

They played the same way in the league.

Still playing better though. Roma seem complacent, Benatia specifically. A LOT of defensive mistakes at the back, Giovinco running havock.

Juve's mistakes are always when they want to change side in defense, which is quite a small mistake. You give away the ball, but at least it a throw in not a goal scoring opportunity.

From the replays i saw, I can't be 100% sure if the ball was out or not. From the side view I saw, the ball *seemed* out, although the replay I saw was not in line.

Apart from that, I see no excessive ref choices going Roma's way. Seems fair to me.

A red is given when its an obvious goal opportunity.

Giovinco/Benatia were not facing the goal keeper. Also, the ball was going to the side, not forward.

Just when a player moves the ball to the side (opposite side of the goal post) in a 1 on 1 with the keeper. Its a yellow not a red.

Giovinco was facing the other way because he was being fouled, if he doesn't foul him he will get on the end of it and would be a scoring chance.

Out of all the people it had to be that clown Gervinho, one of the worst players i have ever seen in my life. He gets into great positions all the time but his decision making and shooting in and around the box are that of an 8 year old kid.
 
Horrible performance, since we are out of the CL i thought he would actually try to win this game tonight. He would rather focus on the league when it's almost over already. I hope the EL performances are not this bad and hope he actually tries to win the matches.

Nope, ball was behind him. Check the replay. He turns back, and he sticks his foot out. ball passes just over his foot.

Ahahahaha, Gervinhooooooo. He doesn't know how he to score. When he does, its probably lucky. He scored with the side of his foot, kind of Ibra style (with MUCH less flair).

Not sure why Conte does this.

Storari, Peluso, Isla, Giovinco, Quagliarella are all 'normal' players. Their 'subs' are MUCH better. Oh well. I'm happy.

If Roma win, and Lazio beat Napoli, there will be 3 derbies after each other

4th Feb - Derby CI 1st leg
8/9th Feb - Derby Serie A
11th Feb - Derby CI 2nd Leg
