Spec me a £45 to £60 gaming mouse please!

i got through 3 kones in 6 months mousewheel twice and left click on two of them too. now it can't be me because "cough" a rival "cough" Replaced the kone with a death adder which lasted nearly 2 years and i sold to a mate who is still using it.

Were any of them the XTD?

I've had mind for over 4 months now and had zero problems with it.

Another vote for the RAT, switched to it recently, very comfortable and I like the sturdy metal base / frame and all the adjustments you can make.

Wow interesting. Thanks a lot for all the replies.

Problem i have with the RAT is its completely radical design. I'm not saying its a bad thing, its just so different I'm not sure what i would do if didn't like it.

The Zowie and Deathadder are both very interesting, I've had 2 deathadders and I've always been happy with them, but their lack of DPI switch has me concerned as i normally use around 800-1600 DPI in most games. Zowie I've never heard of, which is some what of a concern, but I'm sure a quick google will fix that.

I've never owned a logitech and i think that's down to seeing a lot of there mice in bargain bins and their £2 PS/2 that they used to do. I think its 'tainted' my opinion.

I have had two R.A.T 5’s and they only lasted about three month and stopped working:( When they work they are very good but after two stopped working I have just ordered a SteelSeries Kana. I will miss the horizontal wheel as it was very good as a volume control.

If you play MMO's a great deal then a Naga is a brilliant shout. I even use mine for games like LoL.

I want to get a Naga, but i feel MMO's in general are moving away from massive amounts of hot bar abilities, so having a mutli massive button mouse will become less important. For MMO's and personally speaking.

Even so, I think it's still much more ergonomic to be able to use all abilities with your right hand thumb, and then simply use WASD with the left hand and maybe a few other buttons. There's still plenty of abilities to use in WoW.

My RAT7 has lasted me for 3 and a half years now, which at the rate I usually manage to break them is a miracle. I'd definitely recommend the series to anyone. Not sure what the customisation is like on the 3/5, so check they suit your hand first if you're going lower budget.

I got the naga epic 2 years back, I rarely play mmo's but i still find it useful for dota and many other games just because the buttons are there. Also its the most comfortable mouse ive used for plam grip. with the largest attachment on my little finger never touches my mouse mat. had this problem before on Logitech mice.

I love my Sensei, it's absolutely fantastic for Dota and CS.

I've seen quite a few people recommending the RAT but I think they look gash! :)

Just started using a new Mionix Naos 7000, and first impressions are that it's superb. Really is the most comfy mouse I've used for years, and a great optical sensor.
