The Wolf of Wall Street

seeing it this evening, have heard good things. however, i've heard that having to put up with an insufferable character for 3 hours can really get tiring. Can't speak form personal experience though so i'll report back this evening :)
 
Almost a 10/10!
Fantastic film and of course Leo delivers an amazing performance!

Fun fact, Jonah Hill got paid just $60k to complete this movie as he wanted to work for Scorsese so much :)
Good decision as it landed him an Oscar nod!
 
I have to concur with Clipsey, the film is amazing. I'm not usually much of a fan of Scorsese, but he definitely wins me over with this one!
It's hilarious, and really engaging I think.

Plus Margot Robbie... my god! :eek:
 
In parts it was hilarious and I had a good laugh at how outrageous and OTT it was, whilst at the same time finding them all deplorable human beings. It's slightly depressing how many people on my FB are deifying Belfort though, and I've seen a lot of people reading his book on the train/tube - you're putting more money in this guy's pocket (money which he's in no hurry to pay back to the people he ripped off).
 
I really liked it, didn't find it quite as funny as my mate though who was reduced to tears in some parts.
 
I didn't find it all that funny. The slap stick drugs scenes were dull and overly long. Some in the cinema seemed to be loving it so I guess each to their own. Good but not great film. I wouldn't rush to see it again.
 
Funnier than I expected, some parts were hilarious. End dragged a little for me but overall really enjoyed it.
