This is a reference asus 290 and i use it on stock settings, in battlefield 4 all the maps are flickering (things such as windows, some buildings and trees) to the point it makes the game painful to play. Wasnt happening a couple of days ago. so is it time to rma or is their another solution?

Another problem is i removed the cooler when i bought it and that involved removing a sticker on the screw, would that void the warranty?

Is it overclocked at all? If you have damaged the sticker covering the screws, the manufacturer will generally not accept it.

You could try upping the volts if it is at stock or lowering the memory clocks.

its at stock mate and it was going fine i only noticed the problem in the last 2 days, some textures in map dont load straight away either etc something feels off

really regret taking that sticker off now

Could be BF4 bud? Have you tried anything else just to confirm? Might pay to add a touch more to voltages if it does it in other games. If it still does it, lower the memory clocks and that will hopefully clear it up.

Tried that it seemed to make the problems worse, everything was twitching and changed just as i was hovering over in a heli, could be asus gpu tweak or the game itself ill test some more games out tommorow

i'd say its battlefield, i get flickering on walls etc, its most noticeable when looking through a sniper scope. grass is another thing that flickers quite bad for me.

I have an r9 270x using the most up to date drivers and have some flickering on objects and floating guns (without soldiers loading). It is rare but does happen, all other games are fine.

I would probably say it isn't your GPU if you can run other games fine. BF4 is a buggy mess still.
