I reckon a battle royale style tournament, with the finalist going toe to toe with a snow leopard in a fight to the death.
The winner gets an all expenses paid trip to Haiti to help out tsunami victims.
In all seriousness, these just get ignored/switched off.
The starving african kids ones in particular strike me as a waste of time:
"Kumala has to feed her kids mud and make them drink antelope-toilet water"
Well maybe she shouldn't have had 20 of them while living in the middle of the ****ing desert then?!
We've been throwing money at Africa for 30+ years now, and oh look, they're in exactly the same state as they were 30+ years ago. Maybe if we stopped giving them money, and enabling them to live in the desert in crap conditions, they'd stop doing it? Either by moving to more fertile locations or stopping having so many kids they can't support (and increasing the suffering and overpopulation in the process).
Please note, I have no problems with charity going to victims of natural disasters and other one-off, freak events, but when it's an ongoing problem where it makes no difference, at what point do you turn round and say "enough is enough"?
