I've only read the OP's post in here but couldn't agree more!

We seem to live in a society of stupid people, and it angers me so much!

The amount of fools on Facebook who like and share fake competitions; for example "Win an apple iPhone because it's been unsealed" created on a page called Apple on the very same day.... yet the thousands of idiots who believe this is truly shocking.

Again, fake articles, and comments on people; sometimes I feel like I am the only person who can actually has a braincell to use.

Stupid and incompetent people really annoy me.

Part of the problem is that stupid people are unaware of their own intelligence deficit due to the problem of illusory superiority/Dunning–Kruger effect.

It requires intelligence to asses intelligence - meaning a large portion of the population believes themselves to be significantly more skill-full than they really are.

Because of this deficit they share information with an air of authority they in reality do not posses, which is why you get morons sharing worthless face-book campaigns, spurious medical practices & clearly fake articles designed to increase network traffic.

Simply because they 'are'. That is the uneducated. When I say uneducated, I mean the ignorant and naive.
People believe in a lot of things (whether it's some crude story in the paper or a full blown religion) for reasons not only related to intelligence.

Worries me how much people are willing to believe anything they read and have no brain power to find out the facts they are just spoon fed what the media gives them.

I find this, but I think the attitude covers a range. Not just for what comes from media, but even when they're 'learning'. They'll learn what they need to pass the exam, but have no real knowledge around the subject and when they have to apply ideas to something they've never seen, its almost like they've been asked something in an alien language.
