I just saw this today, past LOTR games have been just pants to be fair and I have longed for a decent game as I am a fan of the films etc.

This seems to be a step in completely the right direction

To say that im excited is an understatement, this looks amazing

what do you guys think?

It says on the wiki page 2014, thats all I can find at the moment, I literaly just found this today on youtube, and this is only pre alpha and already looks pretty damn sweet :)

Well that suddenly jumped up my want list haha! Looks very nice, especially like the detail of the memory stuff. Hopefully it's not limited to a few options/possible outcomes and there's a lot of variety.

Yea same mate, this has shot right up my wish list, an as you stated I hope there is numerious options to engage every situation, many different ways to play/complete, creating countless outcomes, and many many (hopefully) completly different play throughs.

If its open world sanbox, it will be pre order guarantee from me :)

Looks good. Looks like a Batman, Assassins Creed hybrid - which is a good thing in my book.

I'm not paying too much attention to the 'memory' feature... sounds like a bit a crappy USP which will basically have no impact on the game, except when you go up against bosses they'll make some comment about the last time you met... you did X to them and so they're going to do some variation of X back to you... squared. And it'll get boringly standard very quickly.

The mind control thing though sounds interesting, like the idea of that. Definitely one to watch and I can see me getting this.

Surely assassins creed is just a concept though and they have no legal right to sue.

That's as stupid as COD/BF law suits because both games are shooters.

When I first seen the pre alpha video, I thought "I'll deffo need to upgrade my pc to play this, stuff getting a console!" Then I noticed it was getting played on a ps4. Looks amazing!

This does look interesting - it's one I'll put on my list to look out for later in the year.

It's mainly the combat that draws my interest as it looks like the Batman Arkham games and I think they nailed it there for multiple enemy encounters and it's the combat for me where most of these games fall flat.

As for the legal side, unless they have used the actual code without doing any work then they are not doing anything wrong. Many great designs in all product lines gain inspiration from others and maybe it's almost identical but just caters to some different needs of consumers etc.

Anyway, hopefully development gains ground and doesn't fade out as often seems to happen these days to things I see early on that look interesting
