****** Official World of Tanks OcUK Clan ******

Thanks,
yep I always used to charge in as a scout, didn't always live long :D
but it's fantastic to charge all the way to their base, firing on the run - everyone camps so much that they just panic if 4 tanks are bearing down on them.

You haven't seen panic in this game till you are involved in a full team charge on Malinovka, its a joy to see.

Its difficult to get the whole team to agree but the odd occasions I have been in one the enemy were all dead in about 3 minutes.

I've seen this a couple of times from the other side, it didn't end well for them. I was on a team that did charge, I was in a TD so just reaped the rewards. Most of the other team had rushed up the hill so got stuffed when they tried to come back to stop the cap.

There's a video of a T-95 driving straight across the middle which is quite amusing :)

This just well and truly ****ed me off :( I put one shot in whilst moving to a position, backing up and BOOM arty 1 shots me :(

How do get it to display the type of tank instead of the name and how do you get it to display the damage you have done? Is it in the options or is it a mod?

Type of tank display is set in game - you can alter it to show player names, hp left, tank type, tank tier etc.

The damage done is a mod - XVM.

Managed to do this a while back with OutcastSpartan (then Sargent Aaron) and Defrag:

PS YAY FOR NO REAL DAMAGE CHANGES ON THE WT E100!!!! :D

This just well and truly ****ed me off :( I put one shot in whilst moving to a position, backing up and BOOM arty 1 shots me :(

You seem to have n00b tank camo's showing weak spots lol

The Foch and 48 radar and hatches have had their armour lowered significantly so the dome is now a viable target instead of horribly bouncy.

Foch: Dome now 80mm top and 180mm lower strip WAS 120mm top and 180mm lower strip
Foch: Radar now 80mm top half 180mm lower half WAS 180mm all over

48: Dome now 80mm and 40mm top, 150mm lower WAS 100mm and 40mm top with 150mm ower.
48: Radar now 80mm top half 150mm lower half WAS 150mm centre with sloped 100mm edges

They want it to suck if someone tries to fire while moving or turning the turret.

So fidget a bit, try following a scout flanking you, reticle fills the screen and it wont shrink down to manageable levels til you stop moving about.

I get that, but it won't change too much actual combat capability I feel. It's not often one of these things is so far from it's team that it has no fire support. I am very willing to be proven wrong though :).

Just tried the test server

WTE-100 - 212% of nothing is nothing, not a lot has changed imo but I am remembering from the last test server as I don't own it

Foch 155 - Bigger bar on the top and dome can be penned, other then that armour still bounces IS-7 gold shells. The engine though is a major nerf. Instead of being the speed of a med the 155 is now the speed of a heavy. However, this does stop you accidently going too far and getting yourself into trouble. Yes the engine change is a nerf, but all it requires is a change in play style. The fact you have an auto-loader means people will complain about it regardless.

Peek and shoot speed slowed down
Attacking on the move less viable
Reacting to flanking much worse

Very clear they want it away from front lines.

Which being a Tank Destroyer rather than a heavy should be the case anyway.

I quite like the look of a lot of those changes.

With regards to the Foch 155, having a penetrable weak spot at the top is what it needed. I don't mind the rest of the armour being good from the front, but it does need a weak spot! The speed decrease is another good, it's not a medium tank with an ultra heavy gun, so it should not have an engine that makes it one, otherwise, why play a heavy?

The fixes to the other top two French TDs is also welcome, but I do wish they'd buff some of the lower tier French TDs a little bit.

Is the T10 foch and the T9 foch armour any different ?

Has the track traverse speed of the 155 been nerfed with the engine power ?
