Light reflector shade thingy

I've got some light fixings with some directional lights on them. The problem Is that whatever way I direct the lights, they seem to be in my eyes.

I am looking for some shades/metal reflectors that I can stick around the bottom of the lights so they are not in my eyes...anybody know where I can buy something?

Inside, outside, spots, floods, etc, more info about the actual lights, or a photo would be useful.

Inside lights for the ceiling. Look a bit like this:http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/90262653/ but don't have any shades on them.

Wouldn't advise fitting shades to a fitting that wasn't designed for them, a lot of heat is produced with GU10 fittings.

Could try a lamp with a wider angled beam, maybe a led version would be worth trying.

I have leds in it. I am not looking for a shade a such....maybe just a reflector of some sort that I can attach so that it reflects the light up

What we need is a circular plastic diffuser placed a short distance in front of the the lamp, so it evenly disperse and transmit light from the lamp without the glare.

You have to work out some way of attaching it, either some kind of stand off, a wire support.

Frosted Acrylic /Perspex Plastic 3-5mm Sheet would probably be ideal, it used in illuminated light signs, get some circular discs slightly larger than the lamp cut.

Nice idea. I don't really shave the time, space and equipment to be able to cut these myself... does anyone know where I can get some precut ones?

You must have a 'Plastics Manufacturers & Supplies' firm in your area, search yellow pages for them, also look for Acrylic /Perspex Plastic again in your area.

Most will cut to size Perspex & Plastic.

They should be able to offer 60mm discs, this size would give a small overlap around the lamp.
