Seems to be working fine here but the iPad app is utterly terrible! Every time I refresh the news feed it brings random crap from days ago to the top of the list instead of having stuff in chronological order.

You can change that.

Either to 'top stories' or to 'latest stories'. Should be on the right hand side of the page with a little dropdown arrow.

As for people hating Facebook, there's nothing wrong with the site, it's great for staying in touch with people and organising things with friends and relatives who you no longer see on a daily basis. I don't really understand the hate.

As you never use facebook you probably don't know this but you can get it as an app on your phone or tablet. You don't have to sit in front of your computer to use it. Can be used anywhere.

It usually changes to 'Top Stories' after an update so check when you next update it.
It always catches my misses out

Lots of trolls here, but if Facebook (or lack of) is such an issue, then how about good ol' fashioned emails if you want to contact a certain friend? Or just pick up the phone I met a friend at a café today and we just texted each other beforehand the time that we were going to be there.

If you're with VM, try using OpenDNS or Google DNS.
