Hi all,

I'm almost ready to purchase all the watercooling parts for my rig,

Sadly OcUK are out of stock of the XSPC Waterblock for the GTX 770. Considering going for the "EK Water Blocks FC770 GTX GPU Water Block - Acetal+Nickel" as an alternative.

Just wanting peoples opinions on it?

I am also looking at purchasing the corsair 120mm fans. But there are that many different options not really sure which are best for watercooling? Any recommendations? I will be needing a minimum of 10 fans in total just for my rads.

Also what is the best fluid? Ideally looking for a nice plain blue colour?

Current basket: still needs fans and fluid but is there anything else I will need?

Many thanks in advance,

personally i always give EK my business anyway because they are rediculously helpful and their blocks (that i have got) have always been good quality

Yea had a reply from OcUK but looking at another week for the XSPC, went for EK in the end with the XSPC backplate and even saved me a bit of money by going for the EK one.

So the graphics card and backplate is now on order but still need to make a decision on the rest of the stuff,

the corsair high pressure, low noise are the ones you want. If you are going push/pull I wouldn't bother for the money it will cost you it will make negligible differences to temps.

look at mayhems x1 or the pastel range for quality coolant

I have always found ek WC blocks to be great

ok thanks,

been looking at the mayhems fluids, ideally wanting a sort of wanting a sky blue uv reactive fluid thats more of a solid colour rather than see through so considering the uv pastel white coolant and adding some of the pastel blue berry concentrate to get to the right colour i'm after. Also would 1L be enough or should I get 2 just in case?

1 Litre should be enough.

I have previously used XSPC's UV Blue tubing with mayhems pastel white (non-uv version). This is the effect.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Mayhems Pastel - Ice White Coolant 1L £14.99
1 x XSPC HighFlex Hose 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD, 16/10mm, 2m, Blue/UV Blue £6.49

Of course, change the tubing to the size you want.

That's the exact colour i'm after, but wanting to use acryllic tubing on this build ideally so think the liquid will need to be blue.

Also whats the best way to go about adding a fill port since the res is only small. Am i best off just adding some sort of tubing splitter and add an extra piece of tube on one with a stop plug?
