Eagle Dynamics - A stain on the underpants of gaming

Thanks Nate. I understand the reasoning. I don't know how StarForce is implemented, but would it create quite a different code branch to maintain separately if it was stripped out of one version? Or is it difficult to justify the time to remove it?

I'm not sure it is a time issue, although that is a consideration, I think they just prefer their choice of DRM. Also I believe, having the unprotected binaries available would make the existing protection rather easy to crack.

SOf course wars are fought in Nevad all the time.

Well actually, they are. Red Flag and Green Flag, the two largest NATO air combat exercises take place in the Nevada Test & Training Range several times a year.

And believe it or not, many people in the flight sim community have been wishing for a realistic and detailed representation on the NTTR for a couple of decades.

Well, their admins are absolute jokers.

I posted a topic on their Steam discussion group regarding DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3, http://store.steampowered.com/app/249320/

The first one was deleted, no explanation of PM sent. Why not just close it?

I posted it again, this time, I got:

ROFL.

After 2 posts? REALLY? I did not even get a chance to argue with anyone, offend anyone, TWO POSTS, A post which raises a valid point about their illogical business practice?

So I am a "troll" but I guess I was not a troll when I purchased their games but now I am so they remove access to a support forum on the same platform from which I purchase their software. Nice professional ship they have going there.

ED, you are a disgrace.

Any new potential ED customers, if you disagree with anything, do not tell them. Second thoughts, just do not bother buying their products.

It gets worse they are now banning people on ED forums if the post something negative on someone elses forum ... lol they have reached a new low
