Hey guys, purely a curiosity exercise, how do the above cpu's compare? I know the desktop i5's are normally a lot better than their cheaper AMD counterparts, but how do the mobile version compare, purely considering they run on a lot lower voltage and clock?

Would I see major performance differences in gaming/video crunching etc? Trying to work out which I am best using for uploading youtube vids etc :)

no they arent't

desktop i5 = 4 cores, 4 threads
mobile i5 = 2 cores, 4 threads

that i5 is ULV so its performance is somewhere around full power mobile i3 of the same architecture.

Ahh ok, it still seems to beast through a lot, the fact it doesn't have a HDD is the only let down :( (my laptop that is)
