Anyone remember Diaspora/Rillaspora/Xiaspora/The Reunion.de?

Hi all,

I remember playing Diaspora as a very young teen back in the day, probably about ten years ago. It was a kind of space trading game where you build up your own ship, make guilds, 'pop sats' and capture planets etc.

It died and a couple of clones were built, TheReunion.de was the most recent one I ever remembered playing, and that is now offline.

Anyone remember playing any of these games? And are there any more recent clones out there that you play? Would love to get involved with another one of these games.

Here is new forum about the future release of newer up to date graphics without going over board being created. Just passing the word along do the same please. Its a work in progress but its going to happen here is the link.

ElementEvil (modified version of Xiaspora) + extended modifications and new stuff is online right now.

There's about 100 users playing, but let's bring it back to life guys, it was very fun game thus is my personal favorite for all times. Enjoy!

Played The Reunion a lot, knew it rang a bell so jumped on Youtube and yup played it a LOT back in the day

@ Raumarik, if you played any of the Diaspora clones, The ReUnion, Dark Space, Elementevil etc. You aren't confused.

Game dates back to 20+ years ago as a 2d MMORPG space shooter.

Hello again guys. A couple of friends of mine (including me) are looking to rebuild a new clone. We're looking for some old source codes for the Rillaspora clone. Rillaspora sources was shared on public back in the days when the server was permanently closed. We were looking on the web, but most websites when it was uploaded are dead and people who had them are nowhere to be found. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
