Anyone here on the free plan on Ovivo?

What happens if you use up all your data before the end of the month? Does the data stop or are you charged for going over?

After you use your data it will start editing your credit much like a pay as you go. You top up with credit so you can never owe them money I dont think. And I believe that from the £20 you pay for the sim £15 is turned to credit.

Meandu299 is correct...u pay a one off fee off £20 now (I paid £15) u get £15 back up credit if u go over your allowances and at the end of the month u get full allowances back without spending anymore money. I have been using it for 6 months with no problems at all and since put my 3 kids on them....no more scary bills :-D.
The only downside is every 3mb or 15 mins of browsing time if using data u have to watch a 5 second advert...however...if u stick to the app like facebook twitter tapatalk, the ads dont effect you...for light users with home wifi thers nothin better

If you hit the back key while the ad is playing, it "skips" the ad. It's annoying but for a free service, it's understandable.

Good luck using all the data allowance! The speed is shocking. You have to wait for the advert page to load, scroll down and click continue. If you don't, your speed will be badly restricted. Speeds increase after clicking through the ad page, but even so, its horrificly slow.

I use Ovivo as my main sim, mainly for the free calls and texts. Usually i'm somewhere that has Wi-Fi access so data usage isn't a problem to me, but for those who use a fair bit of data, this will be useless to you.

Got a question about that: does it serve the ad regardless of which browser you're using? I noticed they have a browser of their own which you can download from the Play store, but will it also serve the ads if I'm browsing using Opera or Firefox?

Yes, even on the stock browser.

Yes it sends its ad regardless of the browser and believe me av tried . The only browser that was able to bypass it was opera mini but they have blocked the browser completely.
