Bagon will be a bit fragile. If he takes an icebeam to the face he'll die in one shot. Known as a OHKO. Same with a dazzling gleam. But get him set up and let him use dragon claw (tm and levelling move) and earthquake with dragon dance and either hydropump or flame thrower / fire blast as a special move to kill Steel type pokemon and also grass type. Use earthquake against everyone else that doesn't fly and dragon claw against other dragons and flying pokes that aren't fairies.

So the reason why he has such low HP is because we have both trained him only in attack and speed so his other stats including HP Will be low?

His HP is quite low ish. It's more to do with his 'type' weakness.

For example ANY dragon pokemon is going to have a 2 or 4x weakness to both ice beam and fairy moves like dazzling gleam.

This pokemon is a mixed sweeper. He's not there to soak up hits. He is there to kill hard and kill again. That's why he has speed and attack stats that are already high and boosted by your super training.

Go here and scroll down to the type effectiveness chart. You see that salamence has a 4x weakness to ice. That's like his kryptonite. The idea is to kill whatever has an ice move BEFORE he gets a chance to use an ice move on you.

Ah I see thanks for that info, are you around now to do some trades?

On a train atm. Will be home tonight. Btw are you at a stage now where you have tm earth quake, fire blast etc? If not send bagon back to me. I'll check his training and put those moves on for you...

That would be amazing if you could do that, I don't think he has any of those moves yet and I have just done the 5th gym as he's just sitting getting the EXP share to level him up.

Let me know what time your back as I'm in Canada and there's a time difference lol

P.S cant you only use TM's once?

Been addicted to this the last 4 days

Decided I like Eevee so my party is currently all Eeveelutions except one which is still a normal Eevee because I'm going to evolve it into a Leafeon when I get to the place.

Toronto at the moment but I am moving to Mississauga shortly!

Cool they thought I was a Newfie when I was there...

okay I ready.

Scraggy - train this dude in attack and speed. Leave the moves it has.

feebas - evolves into milotic, train in special defence and hp. This is a special wall designed to take special hits. Equip with leftovers.

Squirtle - designed for Blastoisonite item and moves. Train in special attack and speed. Rest into hp. Keep dragon pulse, aura sphere. Replace scald with water pulse when he learns it and replace aqua jet with any move you like.

Great thanks, I have never seen feebas or Scraggy before, so they are new for me.

let me know when your finished with bagon, Im at work and have to be stealth lol

K your bagon had too much spA and not enough speed7. I removed the special attack training. Now you need to train him more speed till his speed can't go any higher . then train him in special attack. Couldn't teach him EQ as he needs to evolve first before he can learn it. I gave him two claw moves and fire blast. Just replace Brick Break with another move when you want6 to.

Ok great I will work on all of these, I'm guessing there is no quick way to level them all up?

Okay best way to do this it to ev train them all first. So they are all maxed out like I said above. What level are your top 3 pokemon right now? And how much money you got in game?

I'm going to be buying a 3DS/XL or 2DS in the near future, probably this weekend when I get paid, and i'm definitely going to pick one of these two up, probably Y. I used to love the Pokemon games when I was younger but that was more around the time of Red/Yellow so it's been a while since i've played them. Will it be worthwhile picking up Black/White and Black/White 2 as well?

Thanks
