Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [24th - 30th January 2014]

Lukaku has ankle ligament damage according to NBC Sports commentators.

At least Mirallas looks arsed.

Any chance Arsenal can turn it around? Decent odds.

Well seeing as we have had barely a sniff at goal, i somehow doubt it unless Wenger is banging some heads in the dressing room at the moment:p.

We just look so uninterested at the moment, really need to come out firing in the 2nd half.

Well we have been spot on, Rodgers slight change of playing countinho more centrally in middle for us has worked wonders. Sturridge been flawless. Odd seeing Suarez not score. If were still 3-0 around 65mins I'd take Some of them off e.g countinho and give Alberto a run out etc or sterling off Moses on

Arsenal cannot get any worse that's for sure. There will probably be a response, but an early goal is needed. If it gets to around 70 mins still 1-0, I reckon saints will hold on.

A ridiculous performance from us so far. Almost worth a weeks wages fine.

Well I didn't expect that at all. We've passed it around well but a few simple through balls and good finishing has been the only real difference between the two teams.

Three shocking errors, why on Earth would you try and play such a high line against 3 strikers of whom 2 are some of the quickest in the League, especially when Alcaraz can barely walk never mind run?!

Comfortably the better side, have a lot more quality up front although we should have more goals.

Still look like we can concede at any attack but some good last second tackles.

Can't believe a foul was given against Sterling for being rugby tackled, looked a nailed on goal too, along with the earlier offside

Quite clearly contact...

It was quite clearly a dive, terrible touch, Barry did everything he could to let him run past clean. There may have been slight contact, it was from Sterling slowing and waiting for some contact after he realised he gave the ball away, that the ref gave a yellow card for that was laughable.

Sagna or Giroud makes it 1-1....much better guys, much better:D

Looks like Giroud backheeled it in lol

They must be showing a different game down here, Everton had a good 5 mins before the 2nd goal, that all

Fair enough. I've been cooking, but each time I looked up they were attaching (or we were scoring). I now have food, so can give my full attention this half :)

I don't think Rodgers could've wished for your team to be set up any better.
