I didn't pay anywhere near that much for both. Just in case you forgot this is OCUK.. Not every PC has to be a budget build :p

Pretty impressed with the cards so far, anybody running dual cards do the scores seem ok? Bear in mind the CPU is locked, so will be losing some points their.. Just waiting for Haswell -E to complete my build now...

Looks awesome
I've considered it myself but it would be a waste really, I only run at 1920x1080/120Hz.

How's the noise and temps?

Posting images.

You may post images providing they are hosted by a well known image hosting website, such as imageshack, photobucket etc.. Directly linking to images on other sites that are not expressly for that purpose (known as Hotlinking) is not permitted. Hotlinked images will be removed with an infraction notice issued. Repeat offenders will be suspended.

The sharing of images from your own personal web-space is acceptable providing you are the owner and give permission to do so. However, the OCUK moderation team reserve the right to replace or remove any image that is suspicious of being hotlinked or unknowingly hosted by a members personal web-space, as it is not possible to identify those where permission has been granted or otherwise. Such decisions will not be overturned. To avoid complication, we strongly advise that all images are hosted by a image host as mentioned above, which can be easily identified as so.

Images containing nudity, adult or offensive material, including swearing are prohibited. Please check your images before posting. No watermarks or URLs for sites containing content that wouldn't normally be allowed such as competitors, adult sites etc. Any images of such nature will be removed and your account immediately suspended or banned. Unless otherwise agreed by the moderation team, images must be no wider than 1280 pixels wide. The only exception to this are images posted in

Cheers, noise wise just like running a single card, really quiet. When the fans spin up it's not loud, it's kind of a gentle whoosh lol. Can't hear em over my case fans which are 0.700rpm.. Max temp is about 80c @ 1200mhz+ core. These GPU's really are quality.

I like how you downgraded to a more budget build around your xeon, then bought 2 780ti's :D

Haha, yeah the start of the year I downgraded all of our PC's.. Basically had a clear out.. As we were using PS4 in the lounge etc, so made the gaming HTPC we had their redundant. After a massive Xmas spend out I needed the money, anyway something paid off since then so am doing ok now. Especially since I had already freed up so much money by selling off unneeded parts. Now I've got PS4 in the lounge and my Nvidia PC for proper gaming :p. I will prob upgrade to Haswell -E chip at some point, then build will be complete for a couple years..

These cards are very nice, do recommend them to anyone considering an upgrade.

What will you do if Maxwell's top dog card is = 780ti SLI? It could well happen going back through previous generation of cards. ;) :)

Yeah I like the noise these cards make. Much nicer than the 7970s for sure.
You should try downvolting them :D

Looks snazzy, enjoy mate :)

Just got my second 780 yesterday, got to wait until Friday evening until I get home to install it though :( This week is going to be painful!

My single 780 can't max out the more intensive titles at 60fps (1440p), so a 780 Ti probably can't either as it's only a bit better than the 780.
You've somewhat misunderstood my post....
I never stated they could, you might want to take it up with Boom...So far all his cards, regardless of power play all games (yes...everysingle one) maxed settings whilst maintaining a soild 60FPS!

The bloke could be running a 6450 and it will be silky smooth gameplay, soild FPS....no dips etc.
