The nexus 10 I bought for my dad seems to charge very slowly, much slower than the huge battery my bike has on it and it doesn't seem to make any sense because the battery is 33.3Whr and the charger is rated at 10W, so it should only take 3.33h to fully charge the battery, yet even after 6 hours it's not fully charged. Whereas my 540Whr bike battery charges in 30mins.

It doesn't charge at 10W over the whole charge time.

However it should be fully charged in under 6hrs IMO.

I use an app called BATTERY MONITOR WIDGET (not a widget btw), which gives a history of charge/discharge current and other data:

It seems so absurd to have not provided a proper charger utilizing their propriety port, the battery could be charged in a few minutes if they had done, such slow charging is like going through a time warp back to the 90's battery chemistry. :(

Check to see if there are any apps keeping the N10 awake as well, I remember having an app installed on it last year keeping it awake while charging and it slowed down the charging rate considerably.

It would be nice if Google released something to use the pogo pins, the unofficial one charges faster than USB but is so expensive...
