***The Official Battlefield 4 Thread***

Does not work for me either same as above.

it only works if there is nothing for your missile to hit while your reloading and launching another one.

Works best on big open maps like Golmud, you won't get this trick to work on maps like Dawnbreaker as there are too many obstacles.

Apart from the rubber banding issue on Langcam Dam and Hainan resort this game plays fine now.

it really doesnt

the game rubber bands on most conquest large games. You have to keep trying different servers until you find one thats not lagging.

Plus theres still the issue with the game not letting you join servers and the server browsers bringing back false info.

Custom emblems still don't work on XB1 3 months after release. Theres lots of things right, but also lots of things wrong.

Not had any of that on ps4.

I get loads of lag on conquest large. Ps4, never used to get any a couple weeks back. They have broken something for me.

Seems pretty consistent that the main issues seem to be with Conquest, which I have not played yet. I stick to Domination mainly and I have played a little Rush, not had any issues other than dodgy hit detection from time to time.

playing as squad with some of you guys on here , we have noticed a lot of lag on 64 player mode.

Yep before the last couple of patches when the game crashed loads there was no lag on conquest large maps, but now hainan resort lancang dam are the main culprits with frame drops in resort when the C flag building is destroyed, but gotten to a point where we and tending to not play conquest anymore as each map as some rubberbanding/lag to some degree and doing other modes like rush and obilteration instead.

This may be a daft question or one which has before asked before but why do I keep dying. I seem to have people dead to rights and firing away but they put me down with literally one shot.

Love the game but infuriating

Well their still is a one shot glitch, and the general wrongness of how much you shot to kill someone, compared to how few shots before you die ( though in their screen they have emptied over half a clip into you.

WHat guns are you using...loadouts?

Are you firing in very small bursts at you target?..not holding the trigger down..because " spray and prey" does NOT work.

As I've only been playing for a day or so at the moment playing assault with a Scar (level 4)

Controlled bursts is definitely the way forward. Any good weapon recommendations would be good!

AOne of the first guns you get is the AK5c, (I think that's it), use this, I fine it with heavy barrel, grip with better sight, is pretty much the best gun in the game.

there really isn't.

The disparity here is the difference between what you see client side when shooting yourself, and what the server sees, which is when you are being sot.

When being shot yourself, you only see the bullets that register. Thus it appears you die much quicker than you drop others. People you kill and seemingly take more bullets have the same thing. You just don't see it because you're the one dishing out the killing.

The one shot bug was a specific coding problem that meant that damage from a single bullet was counted twice in some circumstances. That's been fixed.
