PS4 Games Outselling Xbox One 3:1 What does this mean to gaming?

I don't think the hardware specs are going to play a part though. Most people will already have a pre disposition to one camp or another, and if not the exclusives will sway them depending on what they are into.
I know about hardware specs, and knew well in advance of my purchase of an Xbone, but that didn't sway me towards the PS4
You are free to make an educated guess, not disputing that. But time will tell

You're ignoring the people who look at consoles for the games, not the specs, and who decided they wanted the XB1 based on that. That's why I got the XB1 first - I wanted Dead Rising, Forza and Ryse far more than I wanted Killzone and Resogun.

If those figures are to be believed then I feel the XB1 is holding its own a lot more than I thought it would.

That could be because PS4 owners are using PS Plus to get the free games like Resogun and Contrast, so are buying less games, whereas XB1 owners are buying more because they don't have that option. That's just a guess though.
 
I fear the Wii U may be Nintendo's last non-handheld.

Though that could mean seeing Mario and Zelda on XB1/PS4.
 
Even if it was that ratio, it doesn't matter, no company is going to screw over the potential profits from millions of console owners.

So its a non story, numbers of consoles sold say nothing, with PS4 sold out and still trying to meet initial demand, and XO to go on sale in plenty of other regions, itll be 2 years before we see who sold what for it to have any real meaning.

As in every other thread, Sony are outperforming MS at the moment but it's early days and let's see what happens in a year or two when both consoles have been out for a decent length of time.
 
its all about the games and far too early to worry about whos sold the most machines, sony will have the upper hand in japan and ms on the usa and i dont think any of them gives a toss about europe

Your so misinformed. Europe is the second biggest console market, that's why the PS4 is not out in Japan yet.

Also PS4 will outsell Xbox in the U.S this generation.
 
the reason for the japan release date is due to lack of japanese style games hence my comment its all about the games, microsofts problem was they shot themselves in the foot when they wanted to tie the game to the machine just like the pc and steam but since they bactraked i think they can turn it around, as for being misinformed mabe i am and mabe im not, its just an opinion which we are all entitled to

It means less games at 720p and 30 fps and more at 1080p and 60fps, or you could look at it at.

3 people happy with their fast cheaper console and 1 person sad and depressed with their 720p TV entertainment machine.
