I've been using a Ducky Shine III (Brown Switches) for about a month now and so far am loving it.
I went for brown switches because I game and type and the resistance feels about right - hate having to type on my MS X4 at work.
So the feel and resistance of the Brown switches is perfect, but the "clatter" from mechanical is still taking a little getting used to.
So O-Rings. They would appear to stop the key "bottoming out" and thus reduce the clatter from the keyboard.
But, would they change the feel and resistance of the keys?
If the O-rings would simply reduce the noise and that is all then maybe worth the investment. If they are also likely to change the "whole dynamic" of the brown switches then I think I'll just get used to the clatter
