Need for Speed: World - Anyone here tried it?

Imagine being sick in your mouth, swallowing it, being sick in your mouth again and blowing it out of your nose, then eating it.....
 
Originally it was pretty decent, worth playing for a bit of fun, but then they decided to suck the life out of things, changed it up completely, and made it suck.
 
I've played it about 3 years ago. Only briefly mind. Very bland, flat, lifeless arcade racer. Mind you it'll use your existing EA account so no harm in trying yourself.

Personally for me I disagree with the sentiments about though. I believe the original 3DO NFS, the 3rd one (the original Hot Pursuit) and the 2010 reboot from Criterion are the strongest of the series.
 
Wow is it really that bad? Is carbon on the PC btw guys? Most Wanted is still my favourite but i've heard Underground 2 is very good and i've never played it, is it worth giving it a shot?

Yeah UC2 is definitely worth a shot. I've played the original Hot Pursuit, Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted & Carbon. I know undercover and the run were pretty bad but apparently Most Wanted was decent. Shift series I think wasn't bad either.

I don't think anything is going to touch the old games which is ashame as it would be good to see a street racing game again with plenty of customization
