That PX Ultegra bike does look good for the money. I can't believe you can get a carbon frame with ultegra for a grand. What is the catch? Bad wheels? I can't figure it out.

It just looks too good to be true. A mate at work is getting one and I am a little jealous.

Cheap wheels and last year's ultegra.

Still a brilliant bike, though.

Kurt Kinetic Road Machine at least seems pretty accurate - have an FTP of 204 which is roughly pushing 220 for 20 mins, managed 260 over 10mins in the gym this week on a Watt bike so good enough for me but it wan't pleasant :(

Also just topped 1k km for Jan (1044km to be precise) - does include commutes though

I think the kurt kinetic road machine has had a lot of testing with power meters so it's power curve data is pretty accurate.

Other trainers should be in the right ballpark, but just being based on the power curve given by the manufacturer it is only going to be as accurate as however the manufacturer determined the numbers.

I've done 210 miles in january, 198 of those have been outdoors. Biggest month so far riding wise

Decent selection of sizes? Not a Sky fan but couldn't say no to some £40 bibs... Planning on getting there for half 7/8ish tomorrow morning.

So, tomorrow morning it's going to be 1 degree with winds around 20mph. Do I go out? And if so, where? I'm thinking somewhere flat and quiet, with a bit of shelter if I can find it to keep the crosswinds off me.

not the sky pro team bibs, theyre the regular ones, i was avoiding sky stuff.

Loads of sky stuff in all sizes in all flavours, loads of nice jerseys in all sizes, loads of tees and gloves

non sky or condor bibs were rare, so get down early if you want bibs that aren't team branded

Been trying to match my CX bike in measurements to my roadie but I cant get the seat back far enough to match, any ideas? maybe a new saddle? or a seat post that is back at the top?
