My uncle has tasked me with finding him some tyres which he doesn't have to pay for the nose for. He's not doing drag racing just jotting about town roads perhaps some motorway on. Seat Ibiza is what they're going on he doesn't want to spend too much because he's considering selling but to be quite honest I haven't seen them since christmas day and they were looking nearly bald then.

Sizes are 215/45R16 86H, really appreciate any help :)

What an odd, expensive size. From the list available on Camskill, I'd choose the Goodyear Excellence probably.

That looks a really terrible size for any decent choice :(

Looks to be 100 ish a corner for anything half decent but saying that all the tyres in that size seem very old models.

Just had a google and it seems a lot of people talk about 205/45/16 or 205/50/16 and there is a far greater choice in both of those sizes so i'd put one of them on personally.

I'd go for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - £102 fitted in 205/45/16 size as it's the most modern tyre out of what i can see.

That price is fitted from blackcircles ^

Yeah plus I don't think he wants to replace them all, I think he only wants to replace the ****ed ones, which I've advised against. But can't force him :) So surely I need to get the right size otherwise the tracking will **** up?

Sure they're not 205/45?

Nope, he's coming up later so I'll run the reg plate through but that's what my text says. It's either an 11 or 10 plate Ibiza.

e; Thanks for all your help though :)

e2; So what about DUNLOP - SPORTMAXX 215/45R16H? I see these pop up a lot, they seem high on the fuel efficiency. £115.40 inc fitting & VAT

Ok sorry for double post, I just did a search of the reg as he said it came up with something different and it's coming up with 225/40R18 W 88. So would it effect it if he only changes two?

Read what it says on the current tyres. That last code means 18 inch wheels.

The previous code you have are 16 inch.

Impossible to fit the a 16 to 18

Top tip - forget what comes up when you type the reg I somewhere. Go outside and read what the tyres say on the side of them.
