Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 4th February 2014]

Ruddy hell...... really good save. A little harsh on Cleverley there, there were like 12 players on the floor and at various heights infront of him there.

Regardless, to put it over from what, 9 yards out is pathetic. At least have someone make a block.

Moyes simply has to go. There is just no promise with anything he does. I think he is utterly clueless as to how to get this team winning consistently.

I wouldn't worry, The Glazers are pretty ruthless when it comes to getting rid of people they think are affecting their bottom line...as we have seen with their NFL franchise.

They will give him a little time and then of he doesn't perform they will replace him.

Moyes is increasingly getting out of his depth and it shows, he may well be an honest, capable manager, but he has none of the gravitas and sheer personality and force of expectation that a club of Manchester United's stature has come to demand. Moyes, in almost a dozen years of management has never won a major honour and is, I suspect, as transitory as the period in which Manchester United find themselves...and unless David Moyes has the ability to stand and smash through his own limitations then we shall see a new manager at Manchester United sooner rather than later.

Great, top class from Moyes today. Amazing tactics, amazing subs.

Definitely aren't any managers better in the world really, peerless performance.

To quote myself:

Even a draw is a terrible result here, so we've had it. Even with all these superb forward players we have no style or direction, STILL.

The only recurring theme is that the full backs cross it (badly) a lot. That's it. The players are partly to blame but they don't seem to be giving it all for Moyes at the moment.

Very poor stuff. Dire overall I'm afraid. Stoke were lucky but that's no excuse.

I think that ends our hopes of top four, unless Liverpool massively bottle it and we improve a lot - no sign of that.
