will we ever see Age of Empires 4?

hey guys,

just looking through my game list and i really really want to play Age of Empires 2, but the graphics and sound are so old, will we ever see a update of this? a completely new game from the ground up but plays the same as aoe2?

its like the RTS games have just disapeared C&C for example great games until the last few recent ones.

a DUNE remake would be cool as well.

i miss the old base building and resource gathering, making settlements every where!

will this ever happen?

too many player with too little patience these days is I think one of the reasons they do not make them anymore. instant rank up gratification needed for everything.

its still not really up to date, company of heroes for example, amazing graphics for a RTS.

AOE Online failed due to micro transactions & IMO it was pretty decent I put in about 500 hours back in 2011-2012. Very addictive & easy to pick up & play.

MS are unlikely to revisit this anytime soon when their F2P experiment failed (£80 for the best content its not surprising was it ).

Its not even possible to play AOE Online now as it shuts down in July so Steam removed it from their servers if you do not already own it no way to get the content anymore.
