What have you done to your car today?

Bit of an expensive car to start home servicing though? Not sure I'd buy a £15k car from somebody who home serviced it however good they were at it.

is this really a good idea, even with the standard power you nearly wrote it off by literally indicating and pulling into a barrier at 70mph :p

I'm fitting some genuine BMW parts to keep my car running at its optimum. When they're due to be replaced by BMW (probably at it's next service in around 10k miles) then I'll pay for them to do it so the paperwork is all in order. It's not really any different to changing your oil in between the standard services.

As for the map, I'd have had that accident no matter what car I was driving..it was a result of poor visibility and a complete lapse in brain function :p

Finally got the alignment done after fitting coilovers.

spent a small fortune on it,(2013 Peugeot Partner)

new interior LED lighting, and a set of genuine Peugeot discs and pads along with a pair of strut top mounts and bearings.

cheerio to £250 :(

Funny you ask actually. This weekend I shall be mostly fitting these, which I picked up for the bargain price of £5 each..the cost direct from BMW is more like £17 each!

The plugs are being fitted to prevent me getting misfires when installing this:

[

Cobb AccessPort V3, which with the Stage 1 Agressive map should take me up to around 380BHP and 400lb/ft :)

Then once my ODB cable arrives next week I'll be flashing the Alpina B3 map to the gearbox to liven it up a bit, and tweaking a few other car settings such as getting the mirrors to fold from the key fob.

Good price that, I paid more for non bmw branded NGK plugs for the e46

new strut top mounts on a 2013 car, quality vehicles these Peugeots eh?

It's a van so I imagine it's been bruised and abused with various loadings over the year? :p

Oh, Pug styling ftl then! I just googled the game and looked at images and saw it resembled a van :p

It's not a van, it's an MPV taxi, but even if its done 70k in 6 months thats still totally awful.

Year old on Thursday and it's done 85k miles most of which has been round the speed bump and pothole infested roads of glasgow

There was play in the strut top bearings but thought it prudent to change the top mounts at the same time seeing as it's in bits

Only other expense before now has been tyres and a set of front and read pads

This is going to. Scan expensive month winters due to come off so need 4x new tyres timing belt kit and a service thank god it's tax deductable

New interior light fitted so the rear passengers can see what their doing

the nice neat installation :)

and some new passenger compartment lights after fitting :)

also changed a brakelight bulb pita job on the partners

Slaves to the front interior light so it operates off the same switch or opening of the doors

decided to hardwire the cabling for my ipad/satnav as well

also picked up some nice shiny new wheels to go on once the weather gets a bit better and I pull the winter tyres off

just need some 215/45/17 rubber to wrap round and were good to go

Failed on emissions, have left it with them as I can't be ****ed with trying to find out what's wrong, they reckon it's most likely the lambda sensor.

Hope it's not too big a deal and I can sell the Fiesta ASAP! Certainly hasn't rusted away to nothing so that is a good thing :)

Needed a lambda sensor. Sold today to a friend.

Sad to see it go but at least it'll be driven now :(:)

I honestly don't know why people would remap a 335i. It's already almost too fast for it and it's drivers own good and getting up to very fast speeds is an absolute non issue. I have never ever, even once, thought "I wish i had a little bit more power".

However I have frequently thought "Holy hell, this is fast" - and i am still thinking this is after 2.5 years of ownership, which must say something.

The other half thought it was wise to try and drive a car with a frozen window. Only to crash into a car 30 meters up our street .

Got to practice my stitching though. She gets the car back on Monday. Now that her excess has come out of my back pocket I can now buy those TRD grooved discs that she said no to earlier! Every cloud...

Probably found my new favorite tyre. The AS2s appear to have insanity grip levels :D
